Mexican Formula 1 driver, Sergio Pérez, is known for his skillful overtakes and tire management. Checo became the first Mexican driver to win a Formula 1 race since Pedro Rodríguez in 1970, at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix. Pérez began karting at age six and steadily climbed the motorsport ranks, competing in various junior formulas before reaching F1. Outside racing, he’s admired for his charity work in Mexico, love of football, and dedication to inspiring young Mexican drivers to follow their dreams.
